Lifeboats needed to be mobilized after an Irish Ferries ship caught hearth on Friday evening with 200 folks on board.
The incident occurred when a fireplace broke out on an Irish Ferries ship with almost 200 folks on board midway by the journey.
The Irish Impartial reviews that lifeboats from Kent and a French tug have been deployed to the Channel on Friday night after a fireplace broke out within the engine room of the Isle of Innisfree ferry simply after 5.30pm.
The boat was crusing from Dover to Calais when the fireplace broke out and was later extinguished.

Irish Ferries confirmed the incident and revealed there have been 94 passengers and 89 crew on board, all of whom are “secure and accountable”.
They added that the lifeboats have been dispatched as a “precautionary measure” and that Innisfree Island is now “securely anchored”, explaining:
“Because the state of affairs is steady, no emergency assist is predicted to be wanted.”
They continued that they’ll launch a “full investigation into the incident in coordination with related authorities”.
“Within the meantime, impending sailings from Innisfree Island have been canceled and affected clients are being contacted with different journey preparations”.
“Irish Ferries wish to provide its honest apologies to all passengers affected by tonight’s incident and the disruption to their onward journey.”
Whereas a spokesman for the HM Coastguard mentioned: “All passengers and crew have been accounted for and no accidents have been reported. RNLI lifeboats from Dungeness, Dover and Ramsgate have been despatched together with a French tug to dock with the ship.
“The three RNLI lifeboats have been shot down and the French Coast Guard is now coordinating the incident.”
