How to make air fryer baked camembert:
If you’ve ever cooked camembert in the oven it is almost exactly the same. We followed @boredoflunch (opens in new tab)recipe which involved unwrapping a wheel of camembert before popping it back in the wooden base.
Crisscross the top with a knife before drizzling over truffle oil, honey, chilli and thyme. You can switch the toppings up based on what you have in the house we particularly like a combo of maple syrup and pecans, or a few gloves of garlic will also work a treat.
Then add it to the air fryer at 160 degrees for 12 minutes. Toast some old bread into crostinis for a final flourish and start dipping.

Air Fryer Cheat Sheet | £22.50 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Received an air fryer for Christmas but haven’t quite mastered your timings yet? We’ve been there.
While as a general rule I’d usually apply 60% of the cooking time in an air fryer compared to an oven, this cheat sheet goes one step further, with specifics timings for loads of different foods.
It’s also magnetic, so you can stick it on your fridge for when you need to have a quick glance.
Still unsure of how much use you’d get from an air fryer? Let me reassure you of just how useful these appliances are.
I used my favourite ever air fryer the Instant Vortex (opens in new tab)yesterday to cook Chrismas dinner for seven people, and I would’ve struggled massively without it.
I used my air fryer for gammon, carrots, parsnips, pigs in blankets, cauliflower cheese, stuffing and sprouts, and it helped to cut down on timings by over half in most cases.
Here’s a pre-gravy picture for proof (I know Yorkshire puddings aren’t traditional, but they’re too good to leave out!).

Tower T17088 9L Dual Basket Vortx Air Fryer | was £179.99 now £139.99 at Tower (opens in new tab)
Tower’s 9L dual-basket air fryer is one of the largest capacity dual air fryers out there, with each basket boasting 4.5 litres of cooking space. It also has ten presets for an array of different foods, and we love the ‘smart finish’ function that makes it easy to cook different foods in each basket whilst ensuring both are ready at the same time. The current £40 saving is well worth taking advantage of.
Philips HD9280/91 Connected XL Air Fryer | was £198.99 now £149.99 at John Lewis & Partners (opens in new tab)
This extra large 6.2L air fryer from Philips has plenty of room to cook for the whole family. It features a digital touch screen with 7 presets that help you to fry, bake, grill, reheat, and roast to perfection. It’s also Amazon Alexa compatible, and super easy to clean. Plus, it’s now reduced at John Lewis & Partners.

Tower T17024 Digital Air Fryer Oven | was £79.99, now £72.64 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
We love Tower air fryers at Ideal Home, and think that this one would make a great addition to a small family home. It has a capacity of 4.3 litres and touchscreen controls, making it easy to get started with.
COSORI 5.5L Air Fryer | was £119.99, now £109.96 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
I absolutely loved the smaller version of this COSORI air fryer when I tried it, and now the bigger version is discounted at Amazon. It has a lovely interface and a good capacity.
Even better, because it’s on Amazon Prime, if you pick it up today then you’ll have it in time for Christmas.
Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone AF400UK 9.5L Air Fryer | £230.00 at Argos (opens in new tab)

Philips Essential Air Fryer – 4.1 L | was £149.99, now £99.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Phillips is one of the most reliable air fryer brands out there, and this great deal at Amazon from last week is still running. With a good capacity and touch screen controls, this is a no brainer purchase if you’re still looking for an air fryer.
TowerVizion 7L Digital Air Fryer | £99 at Very (opens in new tab)
This was the first air fryer I ever reviewed and in my opinion one of the best out there. It’s got so much space (definitely room for a whole chicken), and a viewing window, so you can check on your food without bringing the temperature down inside.
A fab addition to a kitchen, especially if you’re looking for an air fryer before Christmas, as the delivery time is within three days.
SALTER EK5196 Dual Air Pro Air Fryer | was £139.99, now £130.00 at Currys (opens in new tab)
Ooooo there’s a dual zone air fryer on sale!

Tefal EasyFry Compact Air Fryer [EY301840] | was £94, no £75 at AO.com (opens in new tab)
This nifty little number is on our to-review list so while we can’t speak from experience about this particular model, Tefal is a solid brand for gadgets and gizmos and they have some serious air fryer creds, too.
The EasyFry seems like a great option for smaller homes or if you’re not having to feed too many mouths at once with it’s neat 0.4kg capacity.
NINJA Foodi MAX Dual Zone AF400UK Air Fryer 9.5L| £229 at Currys (opens in new tab)
Could this be the start of the air fryer restock? Curry has restocked it’s Ninja Dual zone at the same RRP as Ninja. They currently have the 9.5L AND 7.6L in stock, we’d advice you to run not walk if you’re hoping to air fryer your Christmas trimmings in this sellout dual zone air fryer this year.
Ninja Foodi Dual Zone still in stock!
The Ninja Foodi has been the viral sellout air fryer sensation, selling out in the 7.6L and 9.5L capacity. While it is currently out of stock at Ninja we’ve found a few other stores where it is still in stock. Including one at Very that is currently selling at the same RRP as Ninja.
Very.co.uk: NINJA Foodi Dual Zone 7.6L Air Fryer AF300UK | £199 (opens in new tab)
Argos: Ninja Foodi Dual Zone 9.5L Air Fryer AF400UK | £230 (opens in new tab)
We did find that OnBuy still has the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer AF300UK in stock (opens in new tab). However, beware that its online price is £278.00 compared to Ninja’s original RRP of £199.99.
Russell Hobbs 26510 Satisfry 5L Digital Air Fryer | £79.99 at Robert Dyas (opens in new tab)
This is the first time I’ve seen the Russell Hobbs Satisfry in stock, which is exciting (if you’re as into air fryers as I am). It has a sizable five litre capacity and 7 preset cooking functions to make use of, all for under £80.
A great family buy if you ask me.
Instant Vortex ClearCook 7.6L Air Fryer | £220.00 at Argos (opens in new tab)
This is the air fryer I’m testing at the moment, and I am quite frankly bowled over by it. The two-drawer system works seamlessly, and I love that you can air fry, roast, grill, bake, reheat and dehydrate.
It’s still in stock at Argos, and would be the perfect buy to help with making Christmas dinner this year.

Ninja Air Fryer AF160UK in stock
This Ninja air fryer is the bigger brother of the Ninja Air Fryer AF100UK. Whereas the AF100UK offers 4 cooking functions and has a 3.8L capacity, the AF160UK has 6 cooking functions and a 5.2L capacity. In addition to the smaller air fryer’s roast, reheat and dehydrate functions, the larger AF160UK also adds in baking and crisping functionality.
And, of course, just like Ninja’s other models, it’s currently out of stock pretty much everywhere right now. Except for at Currys, where you can pick up the in-stock Ninja Air Fryer AF160UK for £149.00 (opens in new tab).
Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer in stock
Next up in our search for in-stock air fryers is the much sought-after Ninja Foodi Dual Zone.
Hugely popular, both the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer AF300UK with 7.6L capacity, and the Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer AF400UK with its 9.5L capacity have been out of stock for much of the month, with rare in-stock occurrences selling out very fast, and some significant price hikes as a result.
Ninja itself has neither of the popular products in stock, but, there is hope if you have your heart set on this multifunctional air fryer with two independent cooking zones.
If your postcode is one of the lucky ones that’s showing the product available in store, then Argos has some stock of the Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer AF400UK (opens in new tab), which it’s currently selling for £230 compared to Ninja’s RRP of £229.99.
And if you’re looking for the smaller model? Well, OnBuy currently has the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer AF300UK in stock (opens in new tab), but… its current online price is £278.00 as opposed to Ninja’s original RRP of £199.99. OnBuy also has the Limited Edition Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer AF400UK in copper in stock for £359.91 (opens in new tab). Whilst we can’t call either of the latter a great deal, if you’re on a mission to find this elusive dual-zone air fryer then it may be an additional spend you’re willing to make.

Instant Vortex ClearCook 7.6L Air Fryer – Stainless Steel | £220.00 at Argos (opens in new tab)
Another dual zone in stock – this time at Argos. The single drawer version of this is Ideal Home’s top pick of all time when it comes to air fryers, so we’ve got a feeling this bigger one will be something special too.
Good morning, and welcome back to another day of searching for air fryers.
TefalEasyFry Precision 2-in-1 Digital Air Fryer & Grill 4.2L EY505 | was £125, now £109 at Very (opens in new tab)
Here’s a deal from Very on a very popular air fryer from Tefal. For just over £100, it’s got the ability to air fry as well as grill, so you get more for your money.
Stay tuned for more deals throughout the day….
Sur La’ Table Dual Basket Air Fryer | was £200.00, now £184.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
One final dual basket air fryer in stock for today – it’s the Sur La Table version which is still reduced at Amazon.
This is a great Ninja dupe at a fab price, and there’s been a lot of buzz around this model after it was sold at Costco recently. For under £200, we think you can’t go wrong.
Tower T17088 Vortx 9L Dual Basket Air Fryer | was £227.00, now £199.95 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
With the Tower Dual Basket now in stock (and on sale at Amazon!), there are now three dual-basket air fryers to choose from this afternoon, and all of them are under £200.
Whichever one you go for, you’ll have double the space for your money, and the opportunity to sync up whatever is inside so that it’s ready for the dinner table at the same time.
Lakeland Dual Basket Air Fryer | £159.99 (opens in new tab)
Another dual zone in stock! It must be our lucky day.
We’re desperate to try this Lakeland dual zone out after we tried the two single basket models from the brand and loved them. The reviews are rave and it keeps selling out, so we think it must be a great affordable buy.
NINJAFoodi Dual Zone 7.6L Air Fryer AF300UK | £199 at Very (opens in new tab)
RUN! Everyone’s most sought-after air fryer is in stock at Very RIGHT NOW. It’s finally being sold again at RRP and they have stock!
TowerXpress Vortx 5-in-1 Air Fryer | was £109.00, now £89.00 at Very (opens in new tab)
A Black Friday deal on a Wednesday! We’re here for it.
The team at Ideal Home have tried many iterations of Tower air fryer, and loved them all. Now at under £100 for a massive 11 litre capacity, this is a deal worth shouting about.
Philips Essential Air Fryer – 4.1 L | was £149.99, now £142.56 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
There’s a deal on this Phillips air fryer right now, which is one of our favourites and included in our buying guide to the very best air fryers.
In our review, we found it to be a compact, easy to use model, with features to suit families. A good one to take a look at if you want to secure an air fryer before Christmas.
Good morning. The struggle for air fryers in stock goes on and therefore so does this live blog, which will be tracking where you can find all of the must-have models and those final Cyber Week deals. Here’s our first one…
Instant Vortex ClearCook 7.6L Air Fryer | £220.00 at Argos (opens in new tab)
I’m testing out this air fryer at the minute and I love it. I think it’s a real competitor to the ever-popular Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone (which is never in stock), with the same RRP.
I also love how both of the drawers are see-through and have a light setting, so you can see exactly how your food is progressing inside. Top marks from me!
Swan Digital 4.3L Air Fryer | £59 at Very (opens in new tab)
Looking for a pay day steal on an air fryer? This Swan number is so affordable and has a pretty decent capacity alongside an LED touchscreen. It’s a total bargain – and available to order now.
That’s all from us for today, but we will be back tomorrow with more excellent air fryer finds from all of your favourite retailers encompassing all of the must-have models.
Salter EK4750 Dual Air Fryer – Black & Silver | £159.00 at Currys (opens in new tab)
We thought it was worth a mention that this Salter dual zone air fryer (that we’re currently reviewing) is back in stock at Currys.
Our full thoughts will be live on the website next week, but our first impression is that this is a total bargain at way under £200 for two spacious drawers and the opportunity to sync up and match the foods cooking inside.
Tower Xpress Pro T17039 Vortx 5-in-1 Digital Air Fryer | was £119.99, now £114.03 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
An afternoon treat – this Tower air fryer is reduced again over at Amazon.
We’ve reviewed it (and awarded it 4 stars). Find our review here if you want some air-fryer-related afternoon reading.
Good morning from the Ideal Home team.
Cyber Weekend may be over, but we know that air fryer stock issues are still ongoing. If you want to secure an air fryer before Christmas, then we’re here to help.
We’ve scouted around to find air fryers in stock or Cyber Week deals that are still ongoing. Here’s what we’ve discovered for today.
Where to shop air fryers in stock today
Top-rated air fryers in stock or discounted
We’re about to log off from air fryer watch for the night, but here’s a quick recap of all the places you can still find an in-stock air fryer this evening:
Happy shopping!
(opens in new tab)
Tower T17088 9L Dual Basket Vortx Air Fryer | was £150.00 now £120.00 at Argos (opens in new tab)
Finding an in-stock dual air fryer is a bit of a mission at the moment, and whether you’re able to get your hands on this bargain option from Tower remains a postcode lottery, with Argos only showing stock if you happen to be in a location where the product is still on the shelves.
Just like in all lotteries, someone has to win though right? So it’s well worth clicking through to see what stock’s available in your area, especially considering that £30 reduction is a particularly welcome sight.
(opens in new tab)
Perforated Non-stick Greaseproof Paper Air Fryer Liners | was £12.99 now £7.10 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Air fryer liners tend to divide opinion. After all, air fryers are designed to be easy to use, and clean, so many people find them an unnecessary addition.
You can find our team’s thoughts on the topic in our ‘are air fryer liners worth investing in’ article, however, if you’re cooking something that’s sticky or looks likely to be stubborn to remove, or you don’t have a dishwasher and want to save yourself as much elbow grease as possible (no pun intended), then we think they can have their uses.
If you do want to go the liner route, then we’d recommend opting for perforated liners, like these ones from Amazon, to make sure you don’t compromise the airflow or performance of your appliance.
(opens in new tab)
Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 Multifunction Oven | was £249.99 now £229.99 at Ninja (opens in new tab)
If you want an air fryer that isn’t just an air fryer, then Ninja’s Foodi 10-in-1 Multifunction Oven could be for you. Currently in stock on the Ninja website (unlike any standalone Ninja air fryers right now!) this multifunctional oven has 10 additional cooking modes; bake, roast, whole roast, pizza, reheat, dehydrate, toast, bagel, and yep, air frying!
Ninja says this countertop oven heats up 40% faster than a conventional fan oven and can cook family-sized meals in as little as 30 minutes. We think it also makes a great back-up for Christmas Day meal prep, and that extra cooking space is a real bonus when you’ve run out of oven space thanks to the turkey.

The Essential Air Fryer Cookbook for Beginners: Easy, Foolproof Recipes for Your Air Fryer by Laurie Fleming | £12.77 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
What can you cook in an air fryer? Well, almost anything, but it’s always good to have some inspiration from those in the know, and air fryer aficionado Laurie Fleming has put together all of her top tips in this popular air fryer starter book.
It includes plenty of easy recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, plus handy cooking charts that show timings for how long to cook vegetables and meat.

Instant Vortex 2QT 4-in-1 Air Fryer | was £85.50 now £81.85 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Although the Instant Vortex 2QT 4-in-1 Air Fryer retails for £59.99 over on the Instant Brands website (opens in new tab), it’s been out of stock for a while now, and if you don’t want to wait to see if or when it comes back into stock, then this Amazon price does offer a way to get your hands on it sooner rather than later.
In our Instant Vortex 2QT 4-in-1 Air Fryer review we scored it 5 out of 5 stars, and with its compact build and clean white casing we think it makes a super cute addition to the countertop.

NINJA AF100UK Air Fryer | £129.99 at Currys (opens in new tab)
Where to buy a Ninja air fryer that’s in stock? Currys, that’s where! Although we imagine you’re going to need to move fast to get your hands on this 3.8 litre air fryer from one of the most sought-after air fryer brands.
Ninja air fryers have been like gold dust these past few weeks, so if you have your heart set on a fryer from this leading brand name then don’t delay. After all, there’s a reason this air fryer steals one of the top spots in our guide to the best air fryers money can buy, with our testers rating it best for air fryer first-timers in our Ninja AF100UK air fryer review.
(opens in new tab)
Instant Read Cooking Thermometer | was £12.99 now £7.49 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
If you’re investing in an air fryer, then we think it’s well worth picking up one of these bad boys at the same time. An instant-read thermometer provides precise temperature readings within 3 seconds, and the food probe is accurate to 1 degree.
It’s a great way to check that your air fryer roast is done to perfection, especially if you’re planning on using your new gadget to cook the Christmas dinner (no one wants to be remembered as the host who marred the festivities with food poisoning!).
It’s also a great tool to have on standby for summer BBQ’s and grilling, in fact, we think you’ll come to wonder how you ever lived without it! And even better? It’s currently in the sale!
Ninja Foodi Exclusive Health Grill and Steak Knives Bundle | was £339.98, now £269.99 at Ninja (opens in new tab)
Omg, Ninja actually reduced the price of one of their air fryers. That’s not something we’ve seen much of thus far, because they don’t stay in stock for long. This one comes with a bundle of steak knives. We’ve tried their knives before, so can give those our backing too.
Technically this is a health grill, but it still has an air fry mode. In fact, the air fry basket is shaped more like an oven pan, so it might be better for those who want to air fry a chicken or some roasties.
Our reviewer Helen really liked this, she said it compared favourably to a lot of the regular air fryers she’s tested in the past. And she would know, because she’s tested many an air fryer.
BRUNO Compact Air Fryer | £149 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Here at Ideal Home we do, in fact, talk about Bruno. Why? Because I love a Disney reference. But also because this air fryer is really quite cute.
I can’t say I’m familiar with this particular model but I like the touch buttons and how clean and sparse that control panel is. It also has a timer that runs up to one hour and goes from 80°C to 200°C.
Philips Essential Air Fryer – 4.1 L | £149.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
On sale? Non. In stock? Mais oui.
We did see this one on sale for Black Friday, so you’ve missed that boat, but it was only reduced by a tenner and we still really rate this fryer.
It’s actually featured in our best air fryers guide and was reviewed by yours truly.
Hello! What an intro. As Molly said I am Millie, both air fryer obsessed and somewhat capable of finding awesome deals.
Here’s the first of my top picks for the evening:
Daewoo 1800W 12L Rotisserie Air Fryer Oven: was £219.99 now £139.99 at Robert Dyas (opens in new tab)
Rotisserie air fryers are a snazzy middle ground between ovens and air fryers. They’re small but they also have teeny shelves to let you cook different things on different levels. Fun fact: last Christmas I cooked my sprouts and honey-glazed carrots in a rotisserie air fryer and they came out scrumptious.
I’m signing off for the evening, but I leave you in the incredibly capable and air fryer-obsessed hands of my esteemed colleague and Head of Reviews for Ideal Home, Millie Fender.
Salter EK4548 Dual Air Fryer | £189.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Another dual zone model that’s still in stock, this time from Salter. It’s got plenty of good ratings and is available in three different sizes (7.4L, 8L, and 8.2L). That makes it a standout choice for family homes.
Tefal EasyFry Compact EY301840 Air Fryer | was £94.00, now £75.00 at AO.com (opens in new tab)
AO have labelled this as a deal for ‘Black Friday and Beyond’ which we enjoy. It’s a compact model with simple controls that will make air frying at home a breeze. If you haven’t snapped up an air fryer yet, then it looks like this deal is (luckily) here to stay.
Instant Vortex Plus with ClearCook | £147.64 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Our favourite ever air fryer is still in stock at Amazon. It’s the perfect pick for design-conscious cooks, or for those who want to get as many functions possible for their money (this model has 6).
Dreo Air Fryer | was £84.99, now £71.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
A Cyber Monday air fryer deal to shout about! We loved this air fryer from Dreo when we tested it, and now it’s even more affordable. We’d snap this one up fast if you’re still hunting for a Black Friday weekend deal.
Air fryer Christmas content anyone? It’s nearly December, so it’s a good time.
If you have an air fryer with a dehydrate function, why not try your hand at making some festive bunting using dried orange slices? You can whip them up with your dehydrate setting, and use them to decorate your house or your tree!
Tower Xpress Pro Combo 2000W 11 Litre 10-in-1 Air Fryer | was £179.99, now £149.99 at Tower (opens in new tab)
A familiar favourite of ours is still in stock and on sale for Cyber Monday over at Tower. We proclaimed this pick as a ‘roast dinner revolution’ after reviewing it. Try it for yourself and experience just how easy this air fryer will make cooking.
Devology Double Air Fryer | was £269.99, now £224.99 (opens in new tab)
Another dual air fryer that’s on sale right now if anyone is on the lookout for one. We haven’t tried this brand yet, but if you need a large capacity and want all of the fun that comes with dual controls, then it’s one to look into…
Lakeland Dual Basket Air Fryer | £159.99 at Lakeland (opens in new tab)
This is an exciting one, as I haven’t seen this air fryer in stock in absolutely AGES. It’s one of the most affordable dual-zone models out there, meaning that even though it isn’t reduced, it’s still a fab buy.
We’ve tried two air fryers from Lakeland so far, the mini-sized Digital Compact and the bigger Digital Crisp, and we LOVED both.
Not one to miss this afternoon…
Ready for a quick recap?
If you want to get straight to the deals, then we totally understand, as there’s only a limited time left to shop deals this Cyber Monday. There’s also a tonne of deals to enjoy over on our Cyber Monday live blog, which covers everything from mattresses to pizza ovens…
The best places to shop air fryers still in stock
Our favourites this morning
As a little bonus, here is another recap of our favourite in-stock (and in some cases on sale) air fryers this morning too.
Philips Essential Air Fryer – 4.1 L | was £149.99, now £143.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Yay, one of the air fryers in our best air fryers guide (it’s essential reading if you’re shopping today) is now reduced.
When we reviewed it, we loved this air fryer because it makes a great chip. With a cheeky 4% discount now applied, what more could you wish for?
Swan Digital 4.3L Air Fryer | £59.00 at Very (opens in new tab)
I’ve spotted a new affordable model now available at Very. OK so it’s not technically a deal, but at less than £60 it is a steal this Cyber Monday.
It has a capacity of 4.3 litres, and I like the interface, which is two of the most important things. If you’ve already got a Swan kettle and toaster, you could pick up this air fryer and complete the set…
Instant Vortex 2QT 4-in-1 Air Fryer| was £85.50, now £81.85 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Another Cyber Monday win! This is one of our favourite air fryers, and after reviewing our Head of Reviews has kept this one in her flat for the long run (and she tests a lot of air fryers).
Not one to miss if you want to pick up a compact air fryer at a fab price this Cyber Monday.
Tower T17079 3L Air Fryer | was £50.00, now £30.00 at Argos (opens in new tab)
This compact-but-capable air fryer is still at a bargain price this Cyber Monday from Argos. Check the availability in your area, and bag it today if you can.
Instant Vortex ClearCook 7.6L Air Fryer – Stainless Steel | £169.00 at Argos (opens in new tab)
DUAL ZONE IN STOCK ALERT!
Our favourite air fryer (but in double-compartment mode) is back in stock at Argos. Make Cyber Monday count and snap this one up while you can! This is the best deal I’ve seen all morning.
Sur La’ Table Dual Basket Air Fryer | was £203.99, now £193.00 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
I’ve seen a lot of excitement about this air fryer online, and I’m glad to report it’s both in stock and on sale for Cyber Monday.
According to reviews, this is a good alternative to the Ninja Dual Zone if you can’t find that one in stock in your area, and with 5% off, you can get all the satisfaction of finding a deal this morning too.
Stock watch update
I’ve had a look at the retailers offering Cyber Monday deals on air fryers this morning, or places where you can still shop top-rated models in stock.
Hello, it’s Molly here, joining you to find air fryers in stock this Cyber Monday. I’ll be back shortly with all of the retailers I can find with air fryers still in stock to shop on this last day of discounts.
Stock watch update
Air fryers are becoming like gold dust to find, but we’re hoping some retailers have held some stock back for Cyber Monday, so we could see a few more air fryers coming back into stock tomorrow. Until then, these are all the places you can still find air fryers in stock, and the models available:
That’s all for this evening, but we’ll be back bright and early with all the best Cyber Monday air fryer deals and where you can still find some of our favourite air fryers in stock.
Tefal EasyFry Compact EY301840 Air Fryer | was £94, now £75 at AO.com (opens in new tab)
We gave this deal a shoutout earlier this weekend, but it’s worth repeating in case you don’t fancy the scroll. The £19 saving on this compact air fryer makes it one of the most affordable in-stock options we can see right now, and the removable parts are dishwasher-safe.
The 0.4kg drawer is on the small side, but that means it’ll pre-heat fast and the energy usage will be next-to-nothing.
Have you thought about checking out Boots Air Fryer selection (opens in new tab)?
Our next Air Fryer callout isn’t a deal, but we thought it was worth highlighting as an unlikely source for Air Fryers still in stock. It’s Boots! Yes, the place you pick up your toothpaste and shampoo has hopped on the Air Fryer bandwagon.
Boots don’t have any deals on Air Fryers on at the moment, they do have this Tower Vortx 5L manual Air Fryer (opens in new tab) still available to buy. While it is priced at £5 more than we’ve seen it at stockists such as Robert Dyas (opens in new tab), if you have a Boots advantage card it could be worth paying the extra to reap the benefits in advantage points for a future purchase.
Tower Xpress Pro T17039RGB Vortx 5-in-1 Digital Air Fryer | was £129.99 now £119.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
We flagged this Black Friday deal earlier at Tower, but you can also pick it up from Amazon for a discounted price.
Our review of the Tower Xpress Pro called it ‘a roast dinner revolution’. Its huge capacity makes it perfect for whipping up a Sunday roast for the family, or just for yourself (we don’t judge). Also don’t get us started on that gorgeous rose gold finish, this is about as pretty as Air Fryers get.
Hi I’m Rebecca Knight, Deputy Digital Editor at Ideal Home. I’m joining you for the next couple of hours to bring you all the best Air Fryer deals. It is becoming quite tricky to find Air Fryers not only on offer, but in stock at all so we’ll be keeping you updated on both fronts.
We’ll see what deals we can still track down, but keep you up to date with the place you can still purchase an Air Fryer in time for cooking your roast potatoes this Christmas.
I am a complete air fryer convert finding a permanent home for my Lakeland Digital Crisp Air Fryer (opens in new tab) on my kitchen counter. In the couple of months that I have owned it it has become a life saver for whipping up meals in a matter of minutes. I now use it more than my microwave, and I have barely touched my oven in weeks. In my humble opinion an Air Fryer really is a worthwhile investment, if you like your chips crispy and your energy bills low.
Is a halogen oven a good air fryer alternative?
As Black Friday sales have seen air fryers sell out in record time, you might be wondering if other options could do as good of a job at cooking food fast.
We’ve been pondering the exact same thing, and recently decided to pit halogen ovens and air fryers head-to-head to see which one delivered the best – and most economical – results.
Our appliance expert, Helen McCue, hooked both a halogen oven and an air fryer up to an electricity meter to see which was best for power consumption, and compared how quickly they cooked the same foods, as well as whether she preferred the taste and texture of foods cooked in one over the other.
Find out the results in our halogen oven versus air fryer comparison.

Ninja Foodi 11-in-1 SmartLid Multi-Cooker 6L | was £279.99 now £219.00 at Ninja (opens in new tab)
As one of the leading names in high-performance air fryers, it’s no surprise that in-stock Ninja air fryers are pretty much non-existent right now. However, if you have your heart set on a Ninja, that doesn’t mean you have to go without.
The Ninja Foodi 11-in-1 SmartLid Multi-Cooker 6L not only offers an air frying function, but you also get 10 other cooking methods in one pot, including a pressure cooker, slow cooker, grill, and combi-steam functions.
We haven’t tested this latest model – yet! – but we did give the 9-in-1 version a thorough try-out in our Ninja Foodi 9-in-1 Multi-Cooker OP350UK review and loved its versatility, uncomplicated controls, and dishwasher-safe accessories.
What’s more, this multi-functional countertop cooker is also reduced, with the biggest reduction direct from Ninja where the Foodi 11-in-1 SmartLid Multi-Cooker 6L is currently on offer for just £219.00 (opens in new tab) – a £60 saving on its usual retail price.
What to look for when buying an air fryer
Although they can certainly save you money in the long run, air fryers are an upfront investment. To help you make the right choice for you, the Ideal Home team has shared their advice on what to look for when buying an air fryer based on our own purchases.
From capacity to energy efficiency and design, it’s worth taking a moment to consider what would suit you and your household best, rather than just going for the air fryer with the lowest price.
(opens in new tab)
Tower Vortx 5L Manual Air Fryer T17090 | £59.99 at Robert Dyas (opens in new tab)
Another in-stock option, the five-litre Tower T17090 Vortx is currently in stock and, although it isn’t on sale, it is at its lowest price compared to other retailers over at Robert Dyas right now.
We haven’t tested this exact model at Ideal Home, but we’ve tried and tested other air fryers in the Tower range, including the Tower Vortex 5-in-1, and loved their cooking modes.
This manual model is an older iteration of Tower’s Vortx 5L Digital Air Fryer (opens in new tab) – a model that’s currently out of stock – but we’d be willing to sacrifice a little tech for its affordable price tag.
(opens in new tab)
Tefal Actifry Advance | was £149.99 now £99.99 at Aldi (opens in new tab)
Aldi launched its first-ever Black Friday sale yesterday and it includes the Tefal Actifry for the brilliant price of just £99.99.
The air fryer’s original price was £149.99 and, although it may look unconventional, when we put it through its paces for our Tefal Actifry Genius XL 2in1 review we found its spinning paddle was perfect for hands-free cooking.
It also gave consistent results throughout our tests, and the handy viewing panel is super useful for keeping an eye on your food as it cooks.
Shop the Tefal Actifry Advance now before it sells out, and bag yourself an appliance that our Head of Reviews said is ‘amazing’ for chips!
Instant Vortex Plus 6-in-1 with ClearCook 5.7L Air Fryer | £147.64 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
The Instant Vortex Plus 6-in-1 is one of our top-rated air fryers and while it’s not discounted, it IS currently in stock at Amazon and well worth snapping up whilst stocks last.
It got a rare five-star review from Helen McCue, one of our expert appliance reviewers, and from the Ideal Home team during independent testing too. Helen loved its generous capacity and found that it browned food evenly and quickly. Find out all of the detail in our Instant Vortex Plus 6-in-1 review.
The Tower air fryer we’re about to try out
Handing over to our Ecommerce Editor Amy Lockwood now, who will be bringing you the latest Black Friday air fryer deals we can find. I’m off to try out my Tower air fryer, wish me luck! If you missed our earlier post about it, it’s currently got a small discount at Amazon. Tower is known for making some of the best air fryers on the market, and this one’s got a nice manual control and timer and small footprint. Happy shopping!
Tower T17023 Air Fryer, 2.2 Litre| was £44.99 now £38.71 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
How dual zone air fryers work
Dual Zone air fryers do everything your usual air fryer can do, times two. So you can cook with the same time and temperatures across both drawers (effectively doubling the capacity of a single drawer use) or you can control either drawer independently.
This means you can air fry your roast vegetables in one drawer, and your chicken breast in an entirely different setting simultaneously.
To do this you can make the most of Sync or Match modes, which will either sync the finish times of your food to make sure everything is ready at the same time or use Match to duplicate the cooking settings from your first drawer across to the second.
COSORI Air Fryer Lite 3.8L | £99.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Want an air fryer but also don’t want something that looks like a spaceship? We hear you.
We put the tres chic COSORI, an Amazon exclusive, to the test with several different foods to see how it performed. Turns out it’s super powerful and well-equipped and would be absolutely excellent for two people, or maybe even a small family. We love the design and think it’ll look great on your countertop. It also comes in a range of different colours and has an excellent RRP too.
Tower Xpress Pro T17039RGB Vortx 5-in-1 Digital Air Fryer Oven | was £129.99 now £119 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
One of our favourites, the Tower Xpress Pro 5-in-1 Digital, is still in stock at Amazon and is £10 off. Its rotisserie function makes it a game-changer for roast dinners because it makes such delicious chicken. We liked how you can see straight through the door to keep an eye on your food while it’s cooking. It’s a large option, but a versatile one too.
Philips Essential Air Fryer 4.1L| was £129.99, now £122.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Here’s another pick from a brand that we’ve tried and tested: the Phillips Essential 4-litre Air Fryer is still available at Amazon and with a few pounds off. It could be delivered to you tomorrow if you have Prime, and if you want to fully immerse yourself in the world of air fryers, you can get access to an app with this purchase, too, with lots of recipes and dinner inspiration.
Ninja 3.8L Air Fryer and Dehydrator – AF100UK | £130 at Argos (opens in new tab)
Act fast, this compact Ninja model is in stock at Argos right now in some locations and we know it won’t be for long. It might be the smallest and cheapest model from Ninja but this air fryer isn’t lacking anything when it comes to performance. When we reviewed it, everything we made in it was crisped and browned to perfection, plus it’s fast and very easy to use. It’s certainly one of the best air fryers on the market.
Instant Pot Duo Crisp & Air Fryer Multicooker IP-DUO-CRISP80 | was £199.99 now £159.99 at Lakeland (opens in new tab)
Lakeland still has some air fryers and multicookers in stock, including the Instant Pot Duo Crisp & Air Fryer Multicooker IP-DUO-CRISP80, which is £40 off right now. We reviewed the similar Instant Pot Pro, so we’re familiar with the brand.
Ambiano Air Fryer 3L | £34.99 at Aldi (opens in new tab)
If you can wait a week, Aldi has a £35 air fryer with free delivery. You can preorder now, and it’ll be with you by Sunday 4th December. We’ve not yet had the chance to try this air fryer, but it’s a great price and has a nice compact design. It features an overheat protection, anti-slip feet and a 60-minute timer.
The Tower T17023 Air Fryer, 2.2 Litre| was £44.99 now £38.71 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Hello, it’s Millie Hurst here on the live blog for the next few hours. A bit about me: I’m the Senior Content Editor at Ideal Home (and proud new owner of the Tower Vortx 2.2L air fryer). Which, as it happens, is currently 14% off on Amazon. I like the manual controls and the fact it’s not too big and bulky, as my kitchen’s pretty tiny. I’m looking forward to cooking up quick meals with it, from fish cakes to bacon sandwiches.
Which air fryer should I buy?
If you’re new to the whole air fryer thing, head over to our guide to the best air fryers where you can browse the top-performing models, which our team has tried and tested. Some of our top picks are no longer available, but we’ve rounded up the best Black Friday deals for a range of price points.
How much does it cost to run an air fryer?
An air fryer is a great energy-saving alternative for cooking at home – you can be confident that it’ll use a lot less energy than your oven. If you want to work out the exact running costs, you’ll need to know how much you pay for your energy per kWh and the wattage of your air fryer.
Last time we checked, we pay roughly 34p per kWh. So if your air fryer is 1000W, you’ll pay 34p an hour. For context, the cost of running an oven for an hour is around £1, and a slow cooker costs just 5p an hour.
Morning! The Ideal Home team is back and on the hunt for all the best in-stock air fryer and air fryer deals this Sunday. Whilst a storming Black Friday has meant retailer stocks are low across the board, we’re still seeing a few options available at Argos, John Lewis & Partners, and more.
Argos: in-stock Ninja air fryers (opens in new tab)
John Lewis & Partners: in-stock Instant Pot, Tefal and Cuisinart air fryers (opens in new tab)
AO: in-stock Tefal, Tower, and Philips air fryers (opens in new tab)
We’ll bring you more deals as we have them, as we’re hoping retailers will have kept some stock back for the extended weekend sales, and to cover them into Cyber Monday…
BACK IN STOCK: Instant Vortex Plus with ClearCook | £147.63 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Do my eyes deceive me? Nope, the Instant Vortex Plus with ClearCook is back in stock at Amazon. I’ll race you to the checkout.
How do I love this air fryer? Let me count the ways… It’s got a see-through door that lets you peek in and check on the cooking progress of your food. It’s also incredibly smart, with a touchscreen panel that, very user-friendly. Our chips also came out 10/10. Read our full review (opens in new tab) for more info – although I’d suggest you run to Amazon beforehand because there’s no telling when this deal will end.
Daewoo 5L Digital Air Fryer [SDA2578RD] | was £119.99, now £69.99 at Robert Dyas (opens in new tab)
We mentioned this one yesterday, and miraculously there’s still stock! The Daewoo 5L Digital Air Fryer offers overheat protection thanks to cool-touch housing, which is something we test for in our air fryer reviews. It’s really important for keeping your kitchen save while countertop cooking.
It’s also got dishwasher-safe removable parts, which is a must in my book.
Morphy Richards Manual Health Air Fryer | £109.99 at John Lewis (opens in new tab)
NEW STOCK ALERT: John Lewis has dropped an air fryer that I’ve not seen on sale with them before. It’s not reduced, but the price is right at just over £100. It’s the Morphy Richards 480003 Manual Health Air Fryer, with a capacity of three litres. It’s also available at Amazon (opens in new tab) if that’s preferable.
This one has two dials up front: one for time (up to 30 minutes) and one for temperature (up to 200 degrees). It’s also got some suggested times and temperatures up top, which will be good for beginners.
Princess 6.5L Steam Air Fryer | £149 at Studio.co.uk (opens in new tab)
This one’s currently in our test kitchen, so it may be called Princess, but we’re yet to decide if it’s air fryer royalty. We’ll have our review very shortly, but in the meantime we’re happy to give it a mention, even though it’s not on sale right now.
Steam in an air fryer is pretty cool. Veggies, fish, even some gyozas will cook up a treat in this machine. It makes some claims about vitamins and minerals which I personally cannot vouch for, but if that’s your thing, go forth and opt for this one. The price seems pretty fair for such a large capacity.
Tower Xpress Pro T17039 Vortx 5-in-1 Digital Air Fryer Oven | was 119.99 now £113.65 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
This number introduced me to the wonderful world of the oven air fryer. When I reviewed it (opens in new tab), it was the rotisserie that blew me away with a juicy chicken, crispy skin, and drippings I was able to whip into a speedy gravy. That’s made me hungry. Moving on…
Good evening everyone, it’s Millie Fender here taking over the live blog for a few hours. Molly’s done such an excellent job that I’m not sure how many air fryer deals I’ll be able to find still in stock, but you have my word that I’m trying my very best!
A bit about me: I’m Head of Reviews at Ideal Home and a full-time air fryer enthusiast. I’ve reviewed dozens of options from Ninja, Salter, Instant, and Tower, and I also love a good deal.
Spend £60 online at Iceland and bag the Tower Vortex 4L Air Fryer for just £35 (opens in new tab)
Iceland is doing an excellent job when it comes to all things air fryer-related today.

We’ll be heading over to the Iceland website right about now…
3L Alivio Air Fryer | £49.99 at B&Q (opens in new tab)
We’ll hold our hands up, this isn’t the first place we thought to look for an air fryer in stock. But B&Q have pulled it out of the bag with this air fryer for under £50.
We haven’t tried this brand before, but it looks like it uses manual controls and can get up to temperatures of 200 degrees. Not bad if you’re looking for a bargain.
Tower5 Litre Digital Airfryer | £70 at Very (opens in new tab)
Looking for an affordable air fryer? This one from Tower should tick all of your boxes. It’s got a strong 5 litre capacity, and 10 presets including programs for chicken and fries.
Sounds like this air fryer could help you make the perfect Saturday night in.

Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer [AF400UKCP] | £249.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
I’ve spotted that the Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Air Fryer is once again available to buy at Amazon. There are some issues with stock so your delivery date might be a little delayed, but this is the best price you can catch on the Ninja Dual Zone around at the minute.
And it has those gorgeous copper accents. We love it.
Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Max Air Fryer | £285.00 at eBay (opens in new tab)
We know everyone will be looking out for the Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone, but we’re sad to say stock levels are still looking less than ideal at retailers.
However, you can pick one up new on eBay today and have it delivered within three days. A good compromise, right?

Another Instant air fryer, and this one is reduced as part of a bundle. You can bag a good sized air fryer (with 4 functions) and bonus accessories, including a grill pan and skewer kit for under £150.
We haven’t tried this particular model, but we have been huge fans of every Instant air fryer we have tested so far, so this one should be no exception.
Instant Vortex Mini 4-in-1 Air Fryer | £59.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
OK, it’s not currently on sale, but we do love it and it is a total steal at under £60 already.
In our review, we go into detail about how this is THE perfect air fryer for one to two people, and why it’s the model that our Head of Reviews Millie stays loyal to even over a year after testing.
Instant Pot Vortex Plus VersaZone-8.5L | £219.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
This is an interesting one, as it’s an air fryer from one of our faves, Instant with one huge 8.5 litre compartment that you can split up manually with a divider.
It’s got 8 functions for your money, and a lovely design. Amazon is still struggling with ongoing stock issues, but if you check out today then you should receive an expected delivery date sometime soon.

Xpress Pro Combo 10-in-1 Digital Air Fryer | was £179.99, now £149.99 at Tower (opens in new tab)
We love this Tower number at Ideal Home. We recently re-tested it to see how it held up, and it was every bit as good as the first time we reviewed it.
It comes with a 3 grill racks, so you’ve got all of the accessories you need as soon as you check out.
TowerVortx Dual Basket Air Fryer 8L | was £149.00, now £129.00 at Very (opens in new tab)

Good morning, it’s Molly here back with another day of air fryer deals and where you can find our favourites in stock. Stay tuned for all of the best prices we can find…
That’s all folks for this evening. We’ll be back in the morning with more of the best Air Fryer deals and where you can still get your hands on one.

A word on Air Fryer liners – are they worth investing in? While they might promise easy cleaning up after using your Air Fryer Millie Fender, our small appliance and cookware editor at Ideal Home is convinced that they’re worth the investment.
‘I totally understand the appeal of buying something to keep your air fryer clean, but I’ve never understood the point of Air Fryer liners. The point of an air fryer is that hot air circulates and comes into contact with your food from different angles, helping it to cook in a lot less time.’
Personally, we’ve found every air fryer we’ve tested incredibly easy to clean. However, if you do want to invest opt for perforated Air Fryer liners (opens in new tab) so as not to compromise your appliance’s performance.
Tower Xpress Pro 5-in-1 Rose Gold Air Fryer | was £149.99, now £119.99 at Tower (opens in new tab)
We flagged this deal this morning and it is still in stock! When we reviewed it our reviewer Millie Fender called it ‘a roast dinner revolution’. It has a huge capacity and includes everything you need to cook multiple meals at once, and a rotisserie. Forget wrestling a chicken into an Air Fryer pot, this was made for cooking a great roast without the cost of turning on the oven.
Sage SMO870 Combi Wave | £349.95 at John Lewis (opens in new tab)
While this Sage appliance isn’t on offer we thought it was worth flagging for those looking for a multi-tasking alternative to a traditional air fryer. This might look like a microwave but it is also an air fryer and convection oven.
While we haven’t tested its functions we are fans of Sage appliances and the reviews on the John Lewis website give it a four-and-a-half-star rating.
What is an Air Fryer’s favourite food?
Air-vrything.
That’s not just a bad pun, you really can cook ‘air-vrything’ in an Air Fryer. Bread-crumbed food and chips are where an Air Fryer’s strengths lie, but we have used ours to cook up frozen croissants, cupcakes, halloumi and even brussel sprouts.
Vegetarian and vegan recipes are a triumph with an air fryer, especially if you love getting a good crisp on your tofu, or if you want to make mock chicken wings with coated oyster mushrooms.
If you’re stuck on what to cook in your Air Fryer Amazon has a huge range of Air Fryer cookbooks (opens in new tab), including the Ninja Air Fryer Cookbook, £11.68 (opens in new tab), to help you make the most of your new purchase.
Tefal EasyFry Compact EY301840 Air Fryer | was £94, now £75 at AO.com (opens in new tab)
We gave this deal a shoutout yesterday, but it’s worth repeating in case you don’t fancy the scroll. The £19 saving on this compact air fryer makes it one of the most affordable in-stock options we can see right now, and the removable parts are dishwasher-safe.
The 0.4kg drawer is on the small side, but that means it’ll pre-heat fast and the energy usage will be next-to-nothing.
Hi, I’m Rebecca Knight and I’m the Deputy Digital Editor on Ideal Home, I’m going to be taking over the air fryer live blog for the next few hours. I am a complete air fryer convert using my Lakeland Digital Crisp Air Fryer (opens in new tab) to make everything from chicken tenders to croissants.
I’m keeping my eyes peeled for Ninja stock levels, sneaky air fryer deals still available and tips to help you get the most out of your air fryer.
Tefal Easyfry Compact Air Fryer [EY301840] | was £94, now £75 at AO.com (opens in new tab)
If you’ve been looking for a small air fryer, then good news because this petite 0.4kg Tefal number is still available to pick up with the £19 discount. Obviously not the right option for a large family, but it’s a perfect size for 1 or 2 people.
Ninja Foodi MAX Health Grill & Air Fryer [AG551UKDBCP] | £249.99 at Ninja (opens in new tab)
This is a slightly different Black Friday deal – rather than a discount, the offer is the limited edition copper design and the addition of skewers and an apron.
As well as being an air fryer, this also grills, bakes and roasts (and more!) so this sleek number can handily replace several of your kitchen appliances. Work smarter, not harder.
Tower Vortex Dual Basket Air Fryer 9L [T17088] | was £150, now £120 at Argos (opens in new tab)
This generously sized dual zone fryer is comprised of two separate 4.5L baskets which can be used in tandem or separately. There are 12 pre-set functions, so it’s easy to use, even for air fryer novices.
Wilko 4L Air Fryer, £60 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
We’ve not tested Wilko’s own brand of air fryers yet, but they are sold out on their own website and have decent reviews. This model is only £5 more than the 2.5L version, so a good choice if you need a bigger capacity.
Instant Pot Duo Crisp + Air Fryer 11-1 | was £189.99, now £129.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
This is the biggest reduction on the Instant Pot Multi-Cooker that we’ve seen all day. Since it has a range of functions including, of course, air frying, you’re getting some serious bang for your buck.
We reviewed the similar Instant Pot Pro, so we know the brand well.
Tefal Actifry Genius Air Fryer [AH960040] | was £163, now £148 at AO.com (opens in new tab)
We’ve reviewed (opens in new tab) this nifty machine before and it’s a solid choice. This one does look quite different to most other devices, and its shape may or may not fit neatly on your countertop so make sure you get out your measuring tape.
That said, it does have the very handy self-shaking, meaning even cooking without you having to intervene.
Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer [AF300UK] | £199.99 at Ninja (opens in new tab)
Dual Zone Air Fryers are having a moment, and it’s no surprise that they’re becoming harder and harder to find.
This 7.6L one that we’ve tried and loved isn’t discounted but it still in stock and is unlikely to remain so for long…
Dreo Air Fryer | was £84.99, now £75.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
One of our team’s favourites, the Dreo Air Fryer that we reviewed is still in stock on Amazon.
This 3.8L fryer has 9 functions including defrosting, dehydrating and reheating and even comes with a helpful recipe book of 50 meals to try with your new machine.
Daewoo 5L Digital Air Fryer [SDA2578RD] | was £119.99, now £69.99 at Robert Dyas (opens in new tab)
Perfect for a large family with its 5L capacity, this Daewood option has multiple easy-to-use presets for favourites like chips, fish and cakes. The automatic shut off is a welcome feature, too.
Philips Connected XL Air Fryer [HD9280/91] | was £199.99, now £149.99 at John Lewis & Partners (opens in new tab)
Not a Black Friday deal per se, but it is a deal which is in stock on this Black Friday! This Philips Air Fryer is the upgrade of the Essential Air Fryer, which we reviewed and loved.
This version boasts a 6.2L capacity, compared to the 4.1L of the Essential. Plus, as the ‘connected’ part of the name suggests, it can connect to your Amazon Alexa, let you monitor your cooking via your phone and also link to the NutriU app which can send hundreds of meals straight to your Air Fryer.
Tefal EasyFry 3in1 FW201827 Air Fryer | was £189, now £180 at AO.com (opens in new tab)
Good old Tefal has another air fryer on offer, this one with a nice 1.6kg food capacity which means it’ll fit your Sunday roast without an issue.
It’s only £9 off right now, but every little helps – especially when you’re talking about a device with an impressive 7 programmes to play with.
Hi everyone, it’s Thea Babington-Stitt, Ideal Home’s Assistant Editor, clocking in here to keep you up to date on the up-to-date air fryer deals you can find this Black Friday.
The air fryer obsession is real in my life. I fell into the trend by when I picked up the Ninja Foodi MAX 15-in-1 Multi-Cooker [OL750UK], £299.99 (opens in new tab). It’s not currently on discount anywhere, but it’s a name worth remembering! Although it has a million (ok, 15) functions, the air fryer one is what I use the most, and has saved me from hanger more times than I’d like to admit thanks to its ability to cook food quickly from frozen.
I’ll be here all evening on the hunt to find you what air fryer deals remain in stock…
Tower 5 Litre Digital Air Fryer | £70 at Very
(opens in new tab)
We highlighted this one yesterday, but it’s worth revisiting if you don’t feel like scrolling back.
One reviewer said ‘Food comes out perfect’. Can’t say fairer than that.
Instant Pot® Duo Crisp™ & Air Fryer, 8L | was £199.99, now £159.99 at John Lewis (opens in new tab)
We love Instant, and we also love Instant Pots. This one is absolutely massive and can pressure cook, sauté, steam, slow cook, sous vide, warm and air fry….all for the price of an air fryer.
No brainer, we think.
We’ve spied this Tower Air Fryer Accessory Set for £39.99 (opens in new tab) and we want it, to be honest. If you have an air fryer that can also bake, it’s a fun Black Friday buy.
A little reminder that there are currently two dual zone air fryers in stock at Very… but it looks like they might disappear fast.
Buy the Tower Vrtx Dual Basket Air Fryer 8L for £129 at Very (opens in new tab)
Buy the Salter Dual Air Fryer 7.4L for £129 at Very (opens in new tab)
Instant Vortex Plus 6-in-1 ClearCook 5.7L Air Fryer | was £120.00, now £80.00 at Argos (opens in new tab)
Quick! Our favourite air fryer is back in stock AND on sale at Argos.
I have this one at home, and I love the controls. It makes a lovely noise when you press the buttons too, and we all know that’s really the most important thing.
Salter Aero Grill, Pro Air Fryer and Grill | was £149.00, not £128.00 at Very (opens in new tab)
It can air fry, so we’re counting it as an air fryer. It’s also got 6 litres of space and 4 other cooking functions including bake and roast.
For under £100 that’s a whole lotta new meal ideas you could put into action.
Afternoon, it’s Molly here logging back on for the afternoon to find you the prices on air fryers you need to know about.
Let’s talk air fryer prices. It may be Black Friday, but more people are looking for air fryers than ever before, which means a few sellers have ramped up prices to meet demand.
Luckily, we’ve been in the air fryer game for a few years, so we know an overpriced fryer when we see one.
How much does an air fryer cost?
Typically, they are pretty pricey. The cheapest model in our buying guide has an RRP of £60, and a Ninja or Instant Dual Zone will often sell for over £200. But if you see a basic-looking model for over £150, it’s probably overpriced.
Cheaper models will typically be from lesser-known brands available at Amazon, Wayfair etc. Some of them are brilliant, but we’ve not tried all of them, so we’re going off specs and reviews alone when we recommend them to you.
Koolatron 3.6L Air Fryer | was £129.66, now £114.91 at Wayfair (opens in new tab)
It’s been a while since we checked in at Wayfair, and surprise surprise, most of their air fryers are sold out. However, we did find one called the Koolatron, which we hope is as awesome as it sounds.
It’s got a dishwasher-safe non-stick pan and stainless steel basket, and seven cooking modes to choose from. ‘Kool’ indeed.
Tefal EasyFry Precision 2-in-1 Digital Air Fryer and Grill | was £134.99, now £104 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
The Tefal EasyFry Precision 2-in-1 Digital Air Fryer is on our to-review list, but it looks like a good’un. It’s also 19% off right now, so we couldn’t not tell you about it.
What makes this one different is its sizzling grill plate – their words, not ours. It’s got BBQ-like grooves that will give your chicken or veggies that iconic grill marking when you pop them into the air fryer. How very fancy.
DASH Tasti-Crisp Electric Air Fryer | was £128.80, now £106.63 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Ooooh, look what I’ve spotted. DASH is a big brand in the USA, and they were on the air fryer buzz a fair few years before us, making this one a seasoned veteran.
The Tasti-Crisp has a big fanbase, and I’m surprised to see it so reasonably priced over here. On sale, no less! Save 14% and get your Thanksgiving on.
Instant Vortex 2QT 4-in-1 Air Fryer | was £85.50, now £81.85 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
My favourite air fryer is back in stock, and I am EXCITED! I love this little guy, and I keep it very busy in my own flat. For context, there are two of us in a cramped little London kitchen, so there’s no room for a dual zone in my home.
It’s only on sale in the white colour, but that’s the one I have and it’s remained spotless in the bustle of my kitchen.
Hello shoppers, it’s Millie Fender here giving Molly a well-earned lunch break. Will she be air-frying her lunch? My money’s on yes.
I’m Head of Reviews at Ideal Home and I’ve tested countless air fryers, so I’m on a quest to find you some in-stock deals for your perusal. Stay tuned…
Salter Dual Air Fryer 8L | £139 at Very (opens in new tab)
Another Salter Dual Air Fryer is now back in stock at Very – and this one is even bigger. It might make a useful addition to your Christmas dinner cooking set-up this year.
We’d get going to the Very website sharpish.
Swan11L Digital Air Fryer Oven | £89.00 at Very (opens in new tab)
This air fryer looks like a dupe for the Tower Xpress Pro (which is also on sale at Tower (opens in new tab)), but comes in at under £100.
An affordable buy and I think the biggest capacity I’ve ever seen in an air fryer at 11 litres.
Salter Dual Zone Air Fryer 7.4L | £129 at Very – BACK IN STOCK! (opens in new tab)
Another dual zone air fryer in stock?! I almost can’t believe my eyes. This time the Salter, which I’m currently testing out at home.
I love it, and it has a huge capacity without being too bulky.
Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone AF400UK 9.5L Air Fryer IN STOCK | £230.00 at Argos (opens in new tab)
It’s a Black Friday miracle! The Ninja Foodi MaX Dual Zone is showing as in stock at Argos. RUN!
Tower Vortex 4L Air Fryer for £35 when you spend £60 at Iceland (opens in new tab)
Oooo this is a good one! Spend £60 on anything you like at Iceland, and then you can grab a fab Tower air fryer for just £35.
Those Quorn nuggets are going straight in our basket.
Tefal EasyFry 3-in-1 XXL Digital Air Fryer | was £189.99, now £180.00 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Looking for the Tefal 3 in 1 air fryer? Good news, it’s on sale.
When our freelancer reviewed it, she said it was a “great appliance that can be used for all manner of foods”. It’s also seriously big, which is great for those with more portions to cook up.
EMtronics EMDAF9LD Dual Air Fryer | was £279.99, now £229.95 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Dual air fryer on sale!
Full transparency, this isn’t a brand we’ve tried yet, but we’ve scoped out the user reviews and most are positive. It’s got 9 litres of space, which is ideal for families.
Sur La Table 7.6L Dual Basket Air Fryer | £168.99 at eBay (opens in new tab)
We’ve noticed an even better price on this Sur La Table air fryer we pointed out earlier. You can get it in brand new condition from eBay right now.
Tower T17072 Vortx Vizion Digital Air Fryer | £149.00 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Another not-on-sale-but-so-good-I had-to-mention-it air fryer.
I own this Tower number and it served me faithfully every single day, until I gave it to my mum, who now loves it equally as much.
A family fave with a huge viewing window and really easy to use controls, what’s not to like?
COSORI Lite Air Fryer | £99.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
It’s not on sale, at least not yet, but we had to give a shout-out to the COSORI Lite, which we love. I reviewed it and seeing as it was a brand I hadn’t heard of before, I was super impressed.
I love the colour, and it has loads of features you don’t always get in more pricey air fryers like preheat, reheat, and shake reminders.
Breaking up the stream of deals to say that if you’re buying an air fryer today, save yourself future stress and also pick up a Dishomatic at Amazon (opens in new tab) while you’re at it. There’s nothing better for cleaning your grill plate.
Sur La’ Table Dual Basket Air Fryer | was £209.05, now £193.42 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
I’ve seen a LOT of chatter online about this air fryer (I believe it was sold at Costco in store recently for super cheap) and now it’s reduced. Happy days!
Sur La’ Table is an American brand, and this import looks pretty good to us, with a sleek design and touch interface, and those all-important two baskets.
Finding any dual zone air fryer in stock right now is a miracle, but on sale for under £200 too? We’d jump on this one FAST.
Ninja Foodi MAX Health Grill & Air Fryer | £249.99 at Ninja (opens in new tab)
It’s Ninja stock-check time! And guys, it’s still pretty bleak I’m afraid. HOWEVER, allow me to introduce you to the humble health grill. These come with air frying baskets that can be used to cook chicken, veggies, well… just about everything. I’ve not tried it, but our reviewer Helen has. Here’s what she had to say:
“I found that despite its relatively small capacity, the air fry basket felt roomy and there’s definitely a benefit to being able to spread out foods like fries, instead of having to pile them high like in a traditional basket. But the downside is that it’s a chunky appliance and it’s not ideal if you’re short on space.”
Tower T17023 Air Fryer Oven | was £44.99, now £41.23 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
The Tower T17023 won’t be winning any prizes for the biggest saving, but to be fair, it was already pretty cheap before this 8% discount.
It’s got a tactile dial on the front (for time, up to 30 minutes) and the top (for temperature, up to 200 degrees) so controls will be easy to get to grips with even for air fryer newbies.
Dreo Air Fryer | was £84.99, now £75.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
GOOD DEAL ALERT!
We loved this Dreo air fryer when we reviewed it, and it just got cheaper on Amazon.
It’s probably my favourite air fryer for quick and easy meals, and it has 9 presets too, so you don’t have to lose your mind over how long to cook different foods for.
TowerVortx Dual Basket Air Fryer 8L – Black | was £149.00, now £129.00 at Very (opens in new tab)
Dual-zone air fryer in stock AND on sale?! All of our dreams have come true.
This is the same Argos deal we highlighted this morning, but if it’s out of stock in your area, you can shop it at Very too now for £1 cheaper.
Tower Xpress Pro 5-in-1 Rose Gold Air Fryer | was £149.99, now £119.99 at Tower (opens in new tab)
We highlighted this deal yesterday, but it’s worth saying that it’s still in stock and cheaper than you can buy it on Amazon.
We’re dedicated fans of this air fryer at Ideal Home. We’ve written a whole review of it, and we tested it again a few weeks ago (in silver, which isn’t quite as lovely as the rose gold that’s currently on sale). Can confirm, it’s still a winner for family homes.
If you’re on the fence about buying an air fryer because you don’t know what you’ll be able to cook, then we’ve crowdsourced our favourite air fryer influencers this morning in the office for you to check out.
There’s a lot of love for Air Fryer Guy (opens in new tab), who sings lovely songs as he chucks things into his air fryer, and Poppy Cooks on TikTok (opens in new tab), who did a glorious roast potato air fryer recipe just a few days ago.
There are also loads of great ideas to spruce meals up with your air fryer from BoredofLunch on Instagram (opens in new tab). Get scrolling!
Salter EK4628 XXL Air Fryer | was £119.99, now £100.20 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
I’m currently testing out a dual zone Salter air fryer, but this deal is much more affordable, and just as big (it has a mega 8 litres of space).
It’s another one of those ‘order now, get your delivery date later’ situations, but if you can afford to be patient, we think it’s a steal…
Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Air Fryer | £249.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
It’s no surprise that we still love this exclusive offer from Amazon, which gives the gift of everyone’s favourite the Ninja Dual Zone in a brand new copper colourway for Black Friday.
Annoyingly, Amazon is struggling with stock issues this morning, but we’d still recommend purchasing this air fryer today if you’re after the Ninja Dual Zone, and waiting for the retailer to get back to you with a delivery date.
wilko Air Fryer 2.5L | £55.00 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Full disclosure, we haven’t tested this air fryer yet, but we have seen a lot of interest around it, probably because it’s from everyone’s familiar favourite, Wilko.
It’s not redcued, but at £55 we figured it was worth a shout-out anyway. The user reviews give mainly glowing reports, though it is little in size (just 2.5 litres capacity).
One to check out if you’re working on a budget.
Tower T17088 9L Dual Basket Vortx Air Fryer | was £150.00, now £120.00 at Argos (opens in new tab)
Starting off strong this morning with this fantastic dual zone deal at Argos, which takes £30 off the price of this already very sought after model.
It’s got a massive capacity and the ability to reheat, as well as air fry (obvs!). Dual-zone air fryers are the thing of the moment, so we suspect this one won’t be around for long. Act fast!
Good morning! It’s Molly, Ideal Home‘s Ecommerce Editor logging back in for the day. I’ll be finding all of the Black Friday deals on air fryers you need to know about, and pointing out all of the top-rated models in stock.
We’re signing off for the evening, but we’ll be back in the morning with news on the best air fryers we can find in stock and on sale for Black Friday.
Stock watch update:
They are flying off the shelves but these are some of the place where we’ve still been able to find our favourite air fryers on sale:
- John Lewis (opens in new tab) – You can still find a Ninja air fryer in stock and the Instant Vortex Plus air fryer
- AO.com (opens in new tab) – You can still find Tefal, Tower and Phillips air fryers in stock
- Robert Dyas (opens in new tab) – The only air fryer we’ve tested that is still in stock is the Tefal actifry (opens in new tab) however, there are still a number of alternative air fryers
- Currys (opens in new tab) – The Tefal actifry and Salter airfyer are still in stock
- Amazon (opens in new tab) – You can still find many air fryers in stock including the Amazon-exclusive Cosori
- Argos (opens in new tab) – One of the few places you can still find a Ninja dual-zone air fryer alongside a great range Instant Pot, Tower and Tefal air fryers
TefalEasyFry Precision 2-in-1 Digital Air Fryer & Grill| was £125, now £109 at Very.co.uk (opens in new tab)
We haven’t tried out the TefalEasyFrey Precision 2-in-1 (opens in new tab) but we thought it was worth highlighting for the following reasons:
1. It’s still in stock
2. You get two cooking functions (grill and air fryer) for the price of one
3. It is 4.2L, ideal for feeding a family
We’ve hunted around and this is the cheapest price we’ve found for this particular model.
Daewoo SDA1032RD 17L Halogen Air Fryer| was £89.99, now £39.99 at Robert Dyas (opens in new tab)
We recently put the halogen oven to the test against an air fryer. The air fryer came out top as the winner, however, if you’re looking for an alternative for cooking healthy food this halogen air fryer at Robert Dyas is a great deal at £39.99.
If you’re not sure what to look for when buying an air fryer here is our cheat sheet for the features to look for:
- Easy-to-use controls for both temperature and time. These are the most important features on any air fryer
- Auto-stop and keep-warm functions are useful. But we warned chips, if left for any amount of time, will soon lose their crispness
- Basket capacity. The bigger the basket capacity, the more people you’ll be able to cook for. If you’ve got a family, then a 5-litre machine is a must
- A loud beep to signal the end of cooking time. If you plan to wander off and do something else while you’re using your this is a very good idea.
Tefal EasyFry Compact EY301840 Air Fryer| was £94, now £75 at AO.com (opens in new tab)
Stockwatch alert! This small kitchen-friendly air fryer is still in stock at AO.com and reduced by £9. Air fryers are often a bulky appliance. However, the small footprint of this Tefal EasyFry Compact Air Fryer makes it ideal for smaller kitchens.
It has a 0.4kg food capacity so is better if you’re cooking for 1 or 2 rather than a whole family. When we reviewed this air fryer’s bigger sister the Tefal EasyFry 3in1 air fryer we gave it a solid four-star rating.
Have you considered shopping for an air fryer on eBay? Ninja, Lakeland and many other of our favourite air fryer brands have stores on eBay where they sell certified refurbished products.
While they aren’t brand new certified refurbished means it has been professionally inspected, cleaned and refurbished by the manufacturer or a manufacturer-approved vendor. They are usually products that have been returned to the retailer and never used.
We’re keeping our eyes peeled for any air fryers, but we have spotted the Ninja Foodi MAX 7-in-1 Multi-Cooker & Air Fryer OP450UK, certified refurbished which includes an air fryer function on sale for £179.99 instead of £229.99 at the Ninja store on eBay.
Instant Vortex ClearCook 7.6L Dual Air Fryer| was £200.00, now £150 at Argos (opens in new tab)
We spotted this Instant Vortex Dual Air Fryer deal at Argos this morning, and are excited to report that it is still in stock. Everyone wants a dual-zone air fryer right now and this one shares the design of our all-time favourite air fryer – the Instant Vortex 6-in-1. The added bonus is the two drawers which allow you to set different temperatures and timings.
We said it once and we’ll say it again we don’t think these will stick around all weekend at this price.
Ninja Foodi MAX Health Grill & Air Fryer | £249.99 at Ninja
(opens in new tab)
Ninja air fryers are currently like gold dust to find in stock, which is why we’re turning our attention to the next best (related) thing. The Ninja Foodi Grill, which has an integrated air fryer.
Ninja have released it in this lovely swish copper colour (it matches the amazing Ninja Foodi Max Air Fryer (opens in new tab)) making it great for design conscious chefs too. Oh, and did we mention you get 6 functions for your money?
Hi, I’m Rebecca Knight, I’m the Deputy Digital Editor at Ideal Home. I’ll be taking over the air fryer live blog for the rest of the evening to help you find the best air fryer deals that are still in stock.
I discovered the wonders of cooking with an air fryer after getting my hands on the Lakeland Digital Crisp Air Fryer which is unfortunately currently out of stock at both Amazon (opens in new tab) and Lakeland (opens in new tab). I am a complete convert after discovering I could use it to make the crispiest and fluffiest homemade chips at the touch of button.
Stay tuned as we keep an eye on stock levels and share the best deals we can find.
Sage Smart Oven™ Air Fryer | was £330.00, now £299.00 at John Lewis (opens in new tab)
We know that countertop oven models won’t be for everyone, but if you’ve got the space, this is a cracking deal. Sage is a renowned homeware brand, and this oven uses smart tech to create what they call ‘the perfect environment for air frying’. Oooooh.
Basically, it is huge, and it would serve a family home well, especially thanks to the 10 preset programs that make midnight meals as easy as the touch of a button.
Salter EK4548 Dual Air Fryer | £149.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Sound the alarm, we’ve found a dual-zone air fryer in stock that you can actually buy right now (even if Amazon aren’t sure when they can deliver it just yet).
This Salter model has a host of great reviews on-site and has all of the features that make dual-zone models so great.
We’re talking adjustable temperatures for each drawer and a sync function, that can bring your foods to be ready at the same time, so that nothing gets cold before you serve it. Go, go, go!
Wondering if an air fryer is a good purchase to help you create more oven space at Christmas? We can confirm, they are.
We tested all of our Christmassy favourites in the Phillips Essential Air Fryer 4.1L (opens in new tab), and none disappointed. We’re talking sprouts, pigs in blankets, mince pies… All of them were super quick to cook, and a joy to eat.
Instant 3.8L Air Fryer | was £60.00, now £45.00 at Argos (opens in new tab)
We’ve said it before, but we’ll say it again: though this air fryer is showing as in stock at Argos, it might not be in your area, so just double-check.
If you’re desperate to bag this (very reasonably priced) air fryer, then you could even try toggling between a few locations nearby to see where it actually is in stock.
Instant is one of our all-time fave air fryer brands, and they’ve never let us down when it comes to quality releases that are amazing and efficient at cooking. If you can snag it, this is a super affordable deal.
Here’s a deal we don’t recommend you buy. Yes, it’s listed as in-stock, but the Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer in its exclusive Black Friday colourway is for sale at a whopping £344 at OnBuy (opens in new tab).
It’s temporarily out of stock on Amazon, but it’s still possible to buy the Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone for £249 (opens in new tab). Then they’ll email you with an estimated delivery date, and you’ll be £100 better off.
Daewoo 1800W 12L Rotisserie Air Fryer Oven: was £219.99 now £139.99 at Robert Dyas (opens in new tab)
We love a rotisserie air fryer. They’re perfect for making extra-juicy roast chickens, and also work well for kebabs. This one has a rotisserie basket which will keep chips or roast veg moving while it cooks from every angle.
It’s not the easiest on the eyes, but that £80 saving will make the Daewoo Rotisserie a lot sweeter.
Tower Vortx 5L Digital Air Fryer | was £74.99 now £64.99 at Tower Housewares (opens in new tab)
We like a Tower air fryer. They’re relatively affordable and come with all sorts of presets. Chicken? Tick. Chips? Tick. There’s even one for cupcakes, which we can’t say we’ve tested but it sounds fun.
This one goes up to 200 degrees and has a 60-minute digital timer for cooking just about anything in that five-litre basket.
Salter EK2817 Compact 2L Hot Air Fryer | was £52.99 now £41.30 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
An air fryer under £50 is always a steal, and this 22% saving makes the Salter Compact one of the cheapest air fryers you can buy right now.
It’s a small option, with a dial-up top for adjusting time and temperature. That makes it super easy for beginners to get to grips with, and it has recommended times and temperatures for different foods printed on the control panel.
The timer is limited to 30 minutes, but most things you’ll cook will be done by then anyway. At £41.30 we think this is a great Christmas gift for students or those cooking for one.
How to make the most of your new air fryer
If you’ve been able to snag a new air fryer for Black Friday, you’ll be running back to us for some new air fryer ideas (opens in new tab) in no time. For now though, here’s what you can do to prepare for your new gadget.
Firstly, buy an oil spray bottle like these ones from Amazon (opens in new tab). You only need a teaspoon or so when cooking in the air fryer, but a good mist that will coat your food is the best way to reach an evenly crisp texture when cooking. We also think they look a bit nicer than those supermarket sprays, and they’re refillable.
Some people also invest in air fryer liners (opens in new tab) that will sit inside the basket of the air fryer and prevent you from having to wash it after every use. This can be a real time-saver, although we weighed up the pros and cons of air fryer liners (opens in new tab) recently if you want to learn more.
Ninja AF100UK Air Fryer | £129.99 at at Ninja Kitchen (opens in new tab)
Behold: a Ninja air fryer, in stock. Don’t say we don’t spoil you.
This one’s not a dual zone (you could always buy two and put them side by side…) but it is packed with the tech we love from Ninja. That includes four cooking modes, including reheat and roast. We used the roast mode for our roasties last Christmas, and they were super crunchy.
You can also read our review of the AF100UK (opens in new tab) for more info. Spoiler alert, we gave it 4.5/5 stars.
Devology Double Air Fryer | was £279.99 now £239.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
We’ve not tried anything from Devology, but we thought this one was worth highlighting for the fact that it’s:
1: a dual zone air fryer
2: in stock
3: on sale
Which really is the holy trinity of a good air fryer deal.
This fryer does look pretty good, it’s got dishwasher-safe drawers and a touchscreen control panel. Both drawers also have a combined capacity of 9 litres. If you want a dual-zone in time for Christmas, this could be a good shout.
Instant Vortex Plus air fryer | £119.99 at John Lewis (opens in new tab)
Check it out, our number one air fryer is in stock at John Lewis. It’s not on sale, we know, but this is a rare one to find in stock, and we love it. It’s got a large internal capacity that will easily serve four or more, and while there aren’t many pretty air fryers out there, this one’s a bit of a looker.
It’s got a see-through drawer to give you a glimpse of how your food is coming along, and an upgraded fun little jingle that makes the prompt to turn your food a lot less annoying. Most importantly though, it makes cracking chips.
Tefal ActiFry Genius XL AH960840 Air Fryer | Was £249, now £149 at Curry’s (opens in new tab)
This £100 saving on the Tefal ActiFry Genius XL AH960840 Air Fryer at Curry’s is mega. The ActiFry is basically the OG dual zone air fryer, with a top section that can be used to cook your protein while the lower section cooks your chips, rice etc.
When we reviewed (opens in new tab) this one we enjoyed how it’s self-stirring, meaning there’s no need to give your meal a shake halfway through cooking. We weren’t so keen on the bulky shape. Cons: it looks like a spaceship. Pros: it’s just as clever.
Hi! I’m Millie Fender, Head of Reviews at Ideal Home, and I’m taking over the air fryer live blog for a few hours. This basically means I’ll be doing my favourite thing, which is scrolling the internet for great deals.
I’ve been raving about the perks of air fryers for years – literally. I currently have three in my cupboard, and I’ve reviewed well over 20 of the leading models. Basically, if you see it in our buying guide, I’ve probably tested it. So, stay tuned for my top picks.
Does an air fryer dry out food?
If you’ve ever heard anyone say that an air fryer dries out food, they’re probably using it wrong. If their food comes out dry it means they’re overcooking it, which can be easy to do for air fryer beginners. This is because it takes a while to get used to the difference in cooking times from your oven to your air fryer.
As a general rule, knock 20% off the recommended oven timings when cooking in an air fryer. So if your fish fillet says to cook for 20 minutes, cook for 16 and then check to see if it’s finished.
Another tip for preventing your food from drying out is to flip it halfway through. This will mean that the top of your food is cooking at the same rate as the bottom for a more even texture and no dry bits.
Instant Pot Duo Crisp + Air Fryer | was £189.99, now £129.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
This deal makes the Instant Pot Duo Crisp (which has a huge 11 functions including air frying) basically as cheap as a medium-sized air fryer.
It comes with loads of accessories to help with the various presets, and can handle all of those sauced-based recipes that air fryers aren’t so good at. We loved the similar Instant Pot Pro when we reviewed it , which you can read if you want to learn more about the world of multi-cooking.
How do dual zone air fryers work?
Dual Zone air fryers do everything your usual air fryer can do, times two.
You can cook with the same time and temperatures across both drawers (effectively doubling the capacity of a single drawer use) or you can control either drawer independently.
This means you can cook your roast veggies in one drawer, and your chicken breast in an entirely different setting simultaneously.
To do this you can make the most of Sync or Match modes, which will either sync the finish times of your food to make sure everything is ready at the same time, or use match to duplicate the cooking settings from your first drawer across to the second.
Philips Essential Air Fryer 4.1L| was £129.99, now £119.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Another pick from a brand that we’ve tried and tested, the Phillips Essential 4-litre Air Fryer has a cool £10 right now at Amazon. And if you have Prime, it could be delivered to you tomorrow.
If you really want to immerse yourself in the world of air fryers, you can get access to an app with this purchase too, and pick up lots of recipes to try out.
Tower Xpress Pro 11 Litre Air Fryer | was £149.99, now £119.99 at Tower (opens in new tab)
One of our top-rated air fryers is reduced right now, down to £119.99 at Tower (opens in new tab). It performed incredibly well in our review, with space for a whole roast chicken.
There’s an unbelievable amount of space in this air fryer, and it has different racks to suit a variation of foods so that you could cook separate elements of a meal in one.
At this price, it would be a great buy if you want to cook a Christmas dinner in an air fryer this year.
Tefal EasyFry Compact EY301840 Air Fryer | was £94.00, now £75.00 at AO (opens in new tab)
Need to shop for a cheap air fryer whilst there are some still in stock? This compact air fryer from Tefal currently has £19 off at AO and would suit small households (it has a 0.4litre capacity).
If you’re short on countertop space, this might be the deal for you today.
Instant Pot Vortex Plus Dual Zone Air Fryer | £219.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
This is one of our absolute favourite air fryers in dual zone form, and though it is currently out of stock at Amazon you can still purchase it right now, and wait for the retailer to email you with your expected delivery date when they receive more.
We’d say that this is a risk worth taking if you want to secure a top-quality dual-zone model in the coming days.
Tower T17088 9L Dual Basket Vortx Air Fryer | £150.00 at Argos (opens in new tab)
Finding any dual zone air fryer in stock right now is a struggle. The Tower Vortx Dual Zone is showing as in stock at Argos for £150.00 (opens in new tab), so take a chance at trying to check out in your area while you can.
It’s one of the largest models on the entire market, and it has a range of preset programs to make use of too, if you’re a newbie.
Daewoo SDA1861GE Air Fryer | was £119.99, now £59.99 at Robert Dyas (opens in new tab)
Robert Dyas is bringing the heat this Black Friday with air fryers. This 4 litre Daewoo is now £60 cheaper than it was, and keeps it simple when it comes to settings.
Though it’s currently sold out, we’re really hoping the larger Daewoo Dual Zone Air Fryer for £149.99 (opens in new tab) comes back in at some point today, as it was an incredible £90 off RRP. We’ve got a close eye on it, and will keep you updated on stock.
Tower T17079 3L Air Fryer | was £50.00, now £30.00 at Argos (opens in new tab)
Another Argos deal, so do approach with caution when it comes to stock.
We absolutely love Tower brand air fryers, and even though we haven’t tried this one yet, at this price, you can’t really go wrong.
For just £30 you get an air fryer that has space for 3 to 4 portions, and manual controls to save on faff, if you’re less inclined to tech at home.
Ninja Dual Zone AF300UK in stock | £200 at Argos (opens in new tab)
If you’re only interested in the air fryer of the moment, the Ninja Dual Zone AF300UK, then head to Argos (opens in new tab) right now, and check whether the AF300UK is in stock in your area.
The website is showing as ‘in stock’, but you might need to place your pickup location as elsewhere (if you’re willing to travel to pick it up, that is).
If you can secure at this price then you’re onto a winner, as resale models are reaching the £300 mark on Amazon (opens in new tab).
NINJA Foodi 11-in-1 SmartLid Multi-Cooker with Air Frying | was £279.99, now £228.00 at Amazon (opens in new tab)
Deciding between an air fryer or a multi cooker? We’ve found a deal that combines both, with Amazon selling the Ninja 11-in-1 for 19% less.
We’ve reviewed a very similar model, the Ninja 9-in-1, and found it it was a triumph when it came to air frying, with space for a whole chicken. We also used it to bake a cake and fry up chips.
Grab it while it’s still in stock!
Tefal Actifry Advance | On sale at ALDI
Aldi launched its first-ever Black Friday sale yesterday and it includes the Tefal Actifry, which is £99.99 (opens in new tab) – a great price if you need an affordable air fryer.
Its original price was £149.99. When we reviewed it we were really impressed with the results.
Shop the Tefal Actifry Advance now before it sells out, and bag yourself an appliance that our Head of Reviews said is ‘amazing’ for chips.
We’re seeing a lot of Tefal air fryers reduced in the run up to Black Friday.
The Tefal Easy Fry 3-in-1 is currently down from £189 to £180 at AO.com (opens in new tab), which might not be a huge amount, but is still a good price for a decently sized air fryer.
When we reviewed it, we thought it made a sleek addition to a kitchen, and that it had great versatility with its functions.
Head over to AO.com (opens in new tab) now to browse their all of their Black Friday offerings. You’ll also find deals over there from Phillips and there’s still stock of Tower and Russell Hobbs picks. Prices start at £70.
This Salter Dual Air Fryer (opens in new tab) is a great Ninja dupe if you don’t want to buy the Foodi Max Dual Zone, or if stock issues mean you can’t find one in time for Christmas.
I’m testing it out at home at the moment, and the double compartment makes it really easy to cook up dinners with as you can air fry two different things at the same time.
Amazon is selling this air fryer for £255.00 today, while also warning that there are only a few models left. We think the compact black design with a digital display will look great on your kitchen countertop.
Our favourite air fryer deal is the Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone 9.6l (opens in new tab) at Amazon- it launched exclusively at Ninja and Amazon last week, and is still at a star price of £249.99.
Right now, you can still find it at Amazon, amazingly. There are ongoing stock issues, but if you check out today, Amazon say they’ll be in touch soon with a delivery date.
We think it’s worth checking out at this price if you can, before this exclusive release actually sells out for good.
Why is this such a good deal? Well, not only is it bigger than the standard model at the same RRP, but the OG Ninja Dual Zone has sold out from the retailer itself – meaning that resale prices are now soaring into the £300 mark.
The bottom line? Buy from Amazon for £249.99, or keep checking the Ninja website (opens in new tab) for an even better deal (£229.99) when they come back in stock over there and secure all of those added extras.
Kicking off our live coverage of air fryers in stock today is an excellent deal on our #1 best air fryer, both in regular and dual-zone sizing.
The Instant Vortex 6-in-1 Air Fryer sits at the top of our buying guide after testing different models for over a year and a half. In an unbelievable offer from Argos, it’s currently reduced by £40 to just £80 (opens in new tab).
This is a seriously great price for such a well-designed and equipped air fryer. It has a good capacity, 6 functions (including the ability to reheat, which we love) and even a viewing window made of glass on the front. I own the 5.7 litre air version myself and I absolutely love it, and use it every day.
Dual zone air fryers are all the rage at the moment and much better suited to family life, or for those who love to cook. Instant also sell the Vortex Plus in a dual model, which has a 7.6 litre capacity overall. It has a £219.99 RRP on the Instant website.
Right now, it’s reduced to £150 at Argos (opens in new tab) – that’s the best price we’ve seen it at, but we think it won’t be around for long.
