2020, Frederika tapped the Danish designer Sophie Osterby to create the Hydro vase for her Enhances line, a sequence of objects created in collaboration with rising designers in Denmark and overseas which can be supposed to enhance Frederica’s furnishings line. The Hydro Vase was initially forged in stable brass that has been oxidized to a black end. It has now been prolonged with a brand new model – the Hydro glass vase – which is manufactured from mouth-blown crystalline glass.
The silhouette of the vase is impressed by traditional ceramic vases, historical Greek vessels and conventional pottery. For Østerby, timelessness, texture and materials nature are all essential components in her inventive design course of. With the brand new clear materials, the Hydro vase is a contemporary tackle an historical artwork kind.
