It is the summer season of affection – as a result of ITV2’s hit dating show Love Island is back.
Yep, we’re off to Majorca for several weeks of villa antics – including couplings, dramatic re-couplings, Casa Amor shocks and more – just a few months after the end of South Africa’s winter series.
If you’re a fan of the show, you may have already seen that the Summer 2023 starting lineup has been revealed.
But if you’re wondering how old the cast is this year, we’ve got you covered.

How old are the cast members of Love Island 2023?
This year’s first 10 contestants range in age from early 20s to mid 20s – 21 to 26 to be exact.
The youngest cast members at 21 are Molly Marsh, a musical theater performer and social media content creator from Doncaster, and Dudley-based business owner André Furtado.
Molly lives on a farm with her family and describes herself as “old-fashioned” as someone who stays out of the way dating apps — while Andre says he’ll “fall in love soon” and “plant a field full of strawberries” as a way to woo a future girlfriend.
On the older side are 26-year-old gas engineer and self-described ‘gentleman’ Mitchel Taylor, from Sheffield, and French-speaking communications manager Mehdi Edno, who lives between London and Bordeaux.

‘Big personality’ Jess Harding, a beautician from London, is only 22.
She adds that she has a “heart of gold” but that “every boy is scaring the hell out of me right now” – and hopes to find Mr Right in the villa (and don’t forget: the public can vote on who couples initial).
Dublin-based Catherine Agbaje is also 22 – and promises she’s ‘fun’, ‘flirty’ and ‘never boring’.
The glam realtor also told fans in her introductory talk, “My teeth are real, people always think they’re veneers!”
Also in the girls’ lineup is a model from Glasgow Ella Thomas, who is 23 years old, and Ruchee Gurung, a 24-year-old beautician from Sutton, a town in South London.
The other boys are both 24. They are semi-professional footballer Tyrique Hyde from Essex and business development executive George Fensom from Bedford.
Love Island 2023 kicks off Monday 5th June at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
