While the show is supposed to be a chance for young singletons to find their perfect partner, it all seems to have gone a bit awry on the channel if their re-coupling photos are anything to go by.
Some of the matches look a little miserable to say the least – kind of like their grandma forced them to take a picture with their least favorite cousin during an argument.
During their last re-coupling ceremony, the show’s official page wrote, “A hurricane hit the villa during the couples ceremony event!”
If you haven’t even uttered a ‘J’adore’ since you left your French GCSE oral exam, that roughly translates to ‘A hurricane hit the villa during the wedding ceremony!’
Nicolò Federico Ferrari, who has quite a successful YouTube channel, looked like he had tears in his eyes, while his partner Camille Blum forced a smile.
Valentin Baudrier looks like Tyra Banks cast him on America’s Next Top Model and said, “Hage us with your eyes” (you’ll see what we mean if you scroll down).
Three weeks ago it might have been even worse.
Not everyone got the person they wanted, and the official page stated, “Couples Ceremony was very difficult.” You don’t need to speak French to understand!
Let’s hope love is just around the corner for these extremely chic islanders.
One person revealed that they “can’t stop thinking” about the photos, adding “they all looked trapped,” and the tweet has been liked more than 30,000 times.
It led to comments like, “The first one makes us want to ask them to blink twice if they need help” and “Are they in jail?”
Another person asked what we all thought: ‘So when is love island france coming out with english subs…? ask for a friend.”
Filmed in Gran Canaria, the series certainly seems to take its viewers on a wild ride.
Do these pictures make anybody else wish to redownload Duolingo, wrap up their life within the UK, textual content Mum hello, transfer to France, after which begin watching?
