From mind-boggling bikinis to a dental assistant who actually turned out to be a dominatrix, there’s already enough to keep social media alive.
Despite feeling like it’s just begun, the show continues at a brisk pace – plenty of dumps have already happened.
As the series progresses, that can only mean one thing. Casa Amor lies ahead.
The quaint villa that introduces a new cast of bombs that disrupt the happy couples, resulting in fireworks (and not always the good kind).
When could Casa Amor take place this year?
When could Casa Amor 2023 start?
While there’s never been an official start date for Casa Amor, looking at the show’s past seasons, there’s a pattern that emerges.
Typically, Casa Amor airs between episodes 25 and 30, which is about four or five weeks into the series.
Tonight’s episode (Monday, June 19) is episode 11 of the show. So by that logic we can estimate that the first rumble of Casa Amor will be felt everywhere Monday July 3.
What happens during Casa Amor?
The cast is split into two villas. One group will stay in the original villa, the other will be taken to Casa Amor. There they are met by some opposite sex bombs that will try to ‘turn their heads’.
Famous Casa Amor contestants who really rocked their respective seasons in the past included Jack Fowler, Kaz Crossley, and Ovie Soko.
Love Island continues at 9pm weekdays on ITV2 and ITVX and airs an Unseen Bits episode on Saturdays.
