After a two-decade journey via the realms of Asia and Oceania, a shopper signed up NOAH to redecorate an attic condo in Innsbruck, Austria that captures the spirit of her distant travels. With earlier expertise in combining alpine attraction with the attract of faraway lands, they remodeled this high ground flat – known as A wardrobe – within the heart of Innsbruck to a lightweight refuge with the Alps in sight.

The NOA staff began the undertaking by totally analyzing the ground plan of the 135 sq. meter area. The condo’s title, Omarama, that means “area of sunshine” in Māori, was impressed by the shopper’s connection to the indigenous folks of New Zealand. Using darkish tones, together with black quartzite, painted oak and metallic, turns the areas right into a backdrop and attracts eyes to the breathtaking Alps and owner-curated number of treasures.

To the east, the doorway and residential workplace profit from the sturdy morning gentle. Between the steps and the workplace, the designers create intelligent use of area with a triangular bookshelf and a step shelf for chosen potted vegetation.

Beneath the dramatically slanted partitions and home windows, two black islands demarcate the kitchen area and permit the home-owner to prepare dinner and put together meals whereas having fun with company on both facet.
