Love Island is overrun with almost 1,000 Ofcom complaints in just one week with viewers claiming that several islanders are “bullying” Scott Van Der Sluis.
Following Casa Amor’s explosive re-link last week, the footballer, 22, has been pretty down after Catherine Agbaje broke through with Elom Ahlijah-Wilson.
During Sunday’s highly anticipated movie night, Scott had to watch his former flame kiss Elom passionately and be supported by the other girls in her new relationship.
However, things took a ferocious turn after Leah Taylor exclaimed that the reason why Scott is currently single is because “nobody wanted him” at Casa Amor, which claimed she hadn’t said anything in “four weeks” that she was on the program.
While his fierce backlash has been applauded by viewers, many have labeled the last few episodes as awkward as it seems the majority “have a problem” with the Welsh islander, and fans have even wondered if there’s “something” behind the scenes gone wrong’.
“Every episode Scott gets bullied, it’s actually crazy,” one person tweeted.
“I hate that Scott has been whipped up into considering he is inflicting bother on the villa when all he was doing was defending himself,” added one other.
957 viewers contacted the tv watchdog about Scott’s therapy on the Sunday Film Evening particular.
Earlier than that, 155 Ofcom complaints have been registered after Jess Harding was labeled a ‘imply woman’ for her therapy of Molly Marsh.
The drama erupted on the episode airing on Wednesday, June 14, when Jess, 22, made a number of feedback about musical theater performer Molly behind her again, later breaking down in tears when she was berated for her behaviour.
Molly had made it clear at that time that her intention was to get to know one another Zachariah Noble, after turning her head away from Mitchel Taylor.
However Jess wasn’t too thrilled with the way in which she dealt with issues, and made it fairly apparent.
At one level, the beautician identified Molly’s actions on the health club to the remainder of the group, saying she “does most of it.”
Ella Thomas replied, “She’s not leaving Zach’s facet at this time. She’s clearly performing like she simply needed to coach.’
Jess added, “She is aware of we’re speaking about her. I don’t give a hoot. Simply give ***.’
