Maya Jama made her hosting debut, and the series has provided all the couplings, slips and vibes we’ve come to expect from the ITV2 dating show – plus plenty of dramatic exits and reconnections.
The aftermath of Casa Amor continues, with more drama centered around Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad — not to mention farmer Will Young and Jessie Wynter (gasp) — especially following the ever-popular Movie Night episodes.
Expect much more heat and heartache until the series ends!
So, when can viewers catch up on the latest news? Let’s find out.

What happened last night in Love Island?
Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins became an official couple on last night’s episode.
During the show’s somewhat dull Sunday edition (at least compared to the chaos of Movie Night), Lana beamed, “I came in here looking for someone, I was really looking for love and that’s what I found.”
Ron was equally thrilled with the couple’s new boyfriend-girlfriend status, telling the audience that Lana was “the first person I can call my wife.”
Elsewhere, the brooding tension between Casey O’Gorman, Claudia Fogarty and Rosie Seabrook continued to bubble.
Claudia was emotional during Friday’s episode when Keanan Brand chose to team up with her.
This left previous partner Casey free to be selected by the bombshell Rosie.
And on Sunday’s episode, fans saw Claudia storm out of the bedroom after seeing Casey and Rosie chatting in bed.
It seemed the couple were talking about Rosie sleeping with two pillows instead of one.
An upset Claudia went to sleep on the sunbeds in the villa and came back the next morning.
It didn’t end there though, as Claudia then learned from Samie Elishi that Rosie had mentioned that she thought Casey and Claudia had a lack of chemistry between them.
The girls sat down for a classic Love Island chat – and while Rosie stood by her opinions, they eventually agreed that they should do what was best for themselves at the villa.
We’ll have to wait and see how things unfold in Monday night’s episode…
Who are the current Love Island 2023 couples?
As it stands, the couples in the villa are:
- Will Young and Jessie Wynter
- Shaq Mohammed and Tanya Manhenga
- Tom Clare and Samie Elishi
- Maxwell Samuda and Olivia Hawkins
- Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins
- Casey O’Gorman and Rosie Seabrook
- Keanan Brand and Claudia Fogarty
Is Love Island featured every night?
Cancel your plans because Love Island is open every day of the week!
Except on Saturdays, when a special episode of ‘Unseen Bits’ is broadcast. This gives the islanders a break from being filmed for content.
Winter Love Island 2023 continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
