Seize the children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and greatest associates as this favourite annual occasion has one thing for everybody. It is an interactive nighttime journey within the gardens of the Spier Wine Farm, that includes experimental mild, sound and video paintings from native and worldwide artists. And there can be loads of good meals and wine.
Since 2018 Spier Mild Artwork offers a platform for native artists to shine a light-weight on humanity and its behaviors and philosophies. Whereas grappling with the irony of internet hosting a light-weight artwork competition in instances of overload, the commissioned artists replicate on what it means to dwell on this fantastically advanced and hopefully resilient nation. Their luminous shows set the night time ablaze, asking questions and alluring viewers interactions.
Spier Mild Artwork is free to the general public. All of the paintings is outdoors, so one of the best time to go to is at nightfall, when the solar goes down and the lights come up.
